Bates, Territorial Leaders. Col. Arch Layman (Chief Secretary) and Mrs. Col. Arch Layman Brig. R. E. Martin (Principal) and Mrs. Brig. R. E. Martin Training College Officers Major Harry L. Larsen (General Secretary) and Mrs. Major H. L. Larsen Brig. Ada Van Hazelen, Chief Side Officer Major Erma Garman, Education Officer Capt. Faith McHarg, Finance Officer Capt. Herbert Wiseman, Brigade Officer Capt. Eva McAllan, Field Training Officer Lt. Melba Frazier, Brigade Officer Lt. Col. Alfred J. Gilliard (Field Secretary) and Mrs. Lt. Col. Alfred J. Gilliard Twenty-one (21) women, nine (9) men and four (4) married cadets graduated from this session. Nine (9) cadets also graduated from the Kings Messenger Session, from the Phillipine Islands. This was the first post-war session to be commissioned in the Phillipine Islands and the first to come under the direction of the Western Territory, U.S.A. under the supervision of Brig. R. E. Martin, the Training Principal for the Western Territory. |
