Six (6) copies of The Salvation Army, Western Territorial Training College Commissioning Booklet from the "Torchbearers Session, 1927-1928". The commissioning event took place at the Native Sons Auditorium, on Tuesday, May 29, 1928, San Francisco, CA. Commissioner A. Gifford, The Western Territorial Leader officiated and as supported by The Chief Secretary, Col. and Mrs. Wm. S. Barker; The Territorial Headquarters Staff; The Training College Staff; The Social Service Staff; The Divisional Commanders and their Stafffs, and The Staff Band furnished the music. The Principal of the school ws Col. George Davis. Thirty-seven (37) women cadets, sixteen (16) men cadets and eight (8) married cadets graduated from this session. |
