A certerificate from Zaire commemorating the 100th Anniversary of The Salvation Army in the United States. In the center of the certificate are four stamps from the Republique Du Zaire honoring the works of The Salvation Armys ministry. The different denominatins of the stamps are: 2z, 4.50k, 75k and 20k. One stamp has an inset of Evangeline Booth. General Evangeline Booth, the fourth daughter of the founders William and Catherine Booth, served as Command of The Army in the United States for 30 years before becoming The Army's fourth general and the only woman to hold that office. |
