Both Articles were run on February 8, 1919 depicting the same story of Captain Alva M. Holbrook and his wife Captain Louise Holbrook . According to the article the Holbrooks were Salvation Army officers in Denver at the time. The articles address not only the Holbrooks work but the work of the army in general during World War I. The articles describe how both served soldiers in the front lines in Germany, France and Kansas.
